    Volunteer Commitment

    1. YES, I would like to be a FULL-TIME or PART-TIME Adult Volunteer at Rainbow Adventure Day Camp. I understand that in exchange for free or discounted registration for my daughter, I am expected to be at camp for EVERY day that I have committed.
    2. I understand that my presence is required for Rainbow Adventure to meet GSWW safety ratios for campers. On each day of camp, I will arrive by 8:15 am and stay onsite until 4:00 or all the campers in my unit are signed for and released.
    3. If at any time I am unable to fulfill my commitment due to an emergency situation, I will contact the Camp Director immediately to alert them of my status and work with them to find an alternative volunteer to fill my spot.
    4. Volunteers are expected to attend training sessions before camp begins; May 3rd, Wednesday – Mandatory Adult Volunteer Training – 7-9pm  | May 7th, Sunday  -  Mandatory PA & Adult Volunteers  - 1-2:30, location TBD | July 9th, Sunday –  Mandatory Camp Walk Thru - 2-4pm - Ben Franklin Elem
    5.  I give permission to be photographed and/or audio/video taped during this event and for the images/recordings to be published, reproduced, or distributed by Girl Scouts and its affiliates in all outlets, including but not limited to television, newspapers, internet, council publications, recruitment materials, and ads without liability or limitation or claims.
    6. I believe that girls are the focus of everything Girl Scouts does and I will use the Girl Scout Mission, Promise, and Law to guide my choices and actions.
I have read and understand the responsibilities of this volunteer position and agree to carry them out to the best of my ability.
Next steps: Please complete the Daycamp Registration form, to provide us with your health history, AND register as a camp volunteer on the GSWW website.
